My name is Dr. Norma Murphy. I just moved to town in September and am excited have a new practice in this gorgeous town. I graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in December of 1988. I have practiced in St. Louis, MO, Pagosa Springs, CO and Plainfield (Chicagoland), IL. I thought I wanted to retire, but after a few months of not seeing patients, I knew that I wanted to set up a new practice and continue my passion: Helping others achieve their highest level of health and wellness. I use a light force technique called the Activator Method, that can be used on everyone from newborn to 100+. This technique uses and instrument to gently re-align the spine and other joints. I also use Cranial Sacral technique and I am still waiting for my Acupuncture license to go through in SC, but have practiced acupuncture for over 30 years.

I believe that the body is made to heal and regenerate. My goal is to unleash your own body's healing ability through Chiropractic, Acupuncture (soon), Nutritional Support, LifeLine Techniques and Ph360 (a genetically based wellness program with supportive phone App called Shae).

I am a mother of 4 gorgeous grown children, 2 girls and 2 boys. They have given me 12 fantastic grandchildren who are scattered around the country. My favorite hobbies are metalsmithing jewelry and stained and fusing glass. I love all animals and have 2 dogs, Sophie (shih tzu/yorkie and Sam, a pug/schnauzer mix. I also love anything that has to do with nature, especially the mountains, trees and the ocean, which is what brought me to South Carolina. It is also a bonus that South Carolina has milder winter months than Colorado or Northern Illinois.

I look forward to joining and serving this community!
